What is Air Resistance?

Rally tyres must last much longer than F1 tyres.
Some types must be road legal.
The tyres must provide maximum grip on a range of surfaces
tarmac, gravel and mud being the most common.

The choice of tyre is crucial to the performance of a rally car
and many teams have people reporting the weather and temperature on the course
ahead of the cars to assist in tyre choice.
