What is Air Resistance?

The body structure of rally cars are based road cars
They are designed only to withstand the limited crash testing required of road vehicles.

They would not offer enough protection in the high speed crashes which sometimes occur in rallying, so rally car builders are required to fit additional protection in the form of a roll cage, strengthened seats, upgraded seat belt systems and fire extinguishers.
