What is Air Resistance?

NASCAR cars are supposed to be the same body shape as a models from a manufacturer's range of cars (or pickup trucks) in a similar way to rally cars.

These can be modified in certain ways, such as wider tyres and a vertical spoiler on the back of the boot designed with aerodynamics, downforce and streamlining in mind.
