Chemical Energy

Examples of chemical energy:
Anything with stored energy that can be released by chemical reaction:
Food, batteries, oil, gas, coal and wood
battery
When fuels are burnt they cause energy transfer.
Petrol burnt inside an engine transfers chemical energy to kinetic energy
and allows vehicles to move.

The energy from our food is released by chemical reaction inside us and the energy transfer allows us to do things like drive cars and win races like the driver below!
