Boyle's Law

As long as the temperature remains constant, you can take a fixed amount of gas inside a container and reduce the space inside the container then the pressure will increase in proportion to the area which has been reduced.

boyle's law
P = Pressure on the air
V = Volume of air trapped
boyle's law

'Pressure of a fixed mass of gas is inversely proportional
to it's volume if it's temperature is constant'
