FRICTION

Friction happens when two surfaces touch
Friction gives us grip!

Look at the bottom of your trainers!
The pattern on the bottom gives you grip when you walk and run
so you don't slip and fall!

F1 cars need their tyres to grip onto the track

Friction is very important in the design of tyres!
All cars need their tyres to have grip or else they would slip and slide all over the road!
