What types of motorsport are available in the UK?

 

 

 


Apart from the British rounds of the Formula 1 and the World Rally Championships, in the UK there is a wide range of professional and amateur motorsport.

Circuit racing includes: Formula 3 and British Touring Car racing. Details of many of these can be found at the website of the Motor Sports Association, the regulating body of much motorsport in the UK . A similar situation exists in rallying.

Other forms of motorsport include long and short track oval racing, drag racing, grass track racing and trials. These can involve karts, motor cycles and cars of various types.
